for you other CB yard enthusiasts, many probably know other than plain urea, DEF
fluid is great to use as a fast release fertilizer and is really cheap like granular urea. I was wondering (and know it is a long shot) if anyone has used DEF fluid with a fertigation system. I have an EZ Flo fertigation system for my lawn and I love it. I put in a bag of water soluble fertilizer every 2 months and put my setting on slow and my lawn is spoon fed all year. I love it but he water soluble fertilizer is pretty spendy and is about 80-120 dollars per bag.

I don't see why you couldn't use DEF fluid in a similar manner and at 8-10 dollars for 2.5 gallons it is very cost effective. I just don't know how to go about calculation how much to use and how often in my fertigation system.

Any experts out there that can figure this out for me? Lol. It would be much cheaper to use DEF and i can add phosphorus or potassium as needed whenever.
