1. Coffee: I've not met anyone who liked his/her first taste of that bitter drink called coffee. Why would one proceed further? Yet, millions if not billions do.
2. Beer, same issue.
3. Wines and liquors also the same.
4. Tobacco (double why??).

For some reason, humans are willing to acquire a taste for things that harm our bodies.

Maybe it's also due to socialization (drinking coffee, alcohol or tobacco) or culturalization as parents we make children eat stuff they initially don't like.
