In football, we weren't as bad as people are remembering. We had a stretch there, for sure, but everyone conveniently forgets that with all our question marks and weaknesses on last years' team, we almost bounced back and beat No. 9 Oklahoma at home and Big 12 Runner Up Oklahoma State on the road. It was very close.

Had we done that, no one would have been as down as they are on the team. A couple different bounces and we would have won.
