Says it only has 95,000 miles on it and is selling it for only $5,000. Says it's not listed yet or anything, just decided to sell it.

(We are in the market because my 16 year old daughter totaled our avalon. She says she looked over her right shoulder to check blind spot before she changed lanes but the car sped up and wouldn't let her in and when she turned her head forward again, the truck in front of her had slammed on his brakes and she couldn't stop in time. Tow hitch protected his truck and jacked ours.)

So I'm like cool, let me talk to the better half real quick. My mom says, that's fine, I don't think the owner is in any hurry (owner is a single, retired, female).

I talk to wife, and even though it's a two-seater, we're interested. So I text my mom and say hey can you send us a picture of the car real quick.

Hours go by with no response. I'm thinking, it's fine, no rush. Then my mom texts back, oh sorry, just saw this, it's too dark now, I'll send you a picture in the morning. I'm like okay that's cool.

Next morning, my mom goes out there to take a picture, and the neighbor is like, sorry, I already sold it.

Welp. 🤷‍♂️
