Just playing devil's advocate, what if you sold the car for what it's worth currently? Then take that cash plus the
cost savings on the repairs and put it toward a newer vehicle? Still may not make sense dollar wise but at some point super high cost repairs may not be worth it on a 10 year old German vehicle
