The dance and music really makes you feel connected to the indigenous inhabitants in a way nothing else did on the island. Being members of the church didn't hurt either, they were just so nice to be around and it felt like you were helping them pay for school.

I think the debate is whether your kids would get enough value out of it. Maybe send them to a beach while you and your wife go.
