Hey fellow CBers (not to be confused with "How do you do, fellow kids?") 😃

I'll be in New Orleans later this week (for about a week) at a professional conference. Have never been. Looking to see what places I should try to visit while there.

I searched past "New Orleans Recommendations" posts to see what's already been shared - saw lots of great suggestions for dining (open to thoughts here as well), but not many inquiries/responses for activities.

I'm staying at the JW Marriott with a few other folks in my org, and will be spending a fair amount of time at the convention center. We may have a couple windows of time to get out and explore - any suggestions on cool/authentic New Orleans sites (historical, or just interesting), activities (music, museums, etc.?), or local stores that we should consider?
