game, and Utah losing this year is a big part of that. We all know how the rest of the Big 12 feels about Utah and their superiority complex. I just hope it spills over to the teams and they all have Utah circled on the schedule. If Utah could enter the Big 12 with a punch in the mouth, I doubt KWhitt sticks around long, and he's the only reason I think Utah has been as good as they have. Once he's gone I expect Utah to fizzle away to mediocrity, making local recruiting easier and opening more doors for Cougar success. Utah losing is important for BYU maximum success because the rivalry spills into every aspect of the program from recruiting to coaching, and on the field.
But I still lament the fact that Utah came instead of Washington State. I would have liked them in the conference.
