Sadly with Gobert he isn't in the "popular" group of NBA stars
Like a clique of gossipy high school valley girls, they've unleashed a narrative that Gobert is soft, overrated, whiney, etc. That narrative has spilled to the league and its fans in general, even though the numbers back up his game.
I think Jokic would have smoked any NBA star last night--take your pick. That is how ridiculous he is as a player and why he is the MVP.
