I was worried when at 55 they found 1 polyp, so I went back at 58. No polyps.
Then 5 years passed and doctor suggested my 3rd. I had another polyp, but now I've told 5 years is okay going forward. I had a paternal grandmother die at the age of 73 from colon cancer. Her problems had manifest themselves 3 years earlier. No standard colonoscopies back then (mid 70's).

After the 1st one I had the bloated air feeling you mention, but not the last 2. I don't why.

Congrats on clean colon. Hopefully you got a gold star for that 😉
