It's very annoying. It could easily go to court and you have little control. It
is the insurance company negotiating and then you are the one sued when they don't find a resolution. They could be making the right call but you don't even have all the facts.

I've had to sue 2 people who in court totally admitted they were at fault. The court makes you sue the individual while the insurance company just waits and pays once judgement is decided. I tried to make an argument that the only reaaon we were in court was because the insurance failed to do it's job. The judge just ignored all that and gave me what I wanted but denied having the insurance pay for everyones wasted time. Took 6 months to get a $4,800 repair in one case. Allstate is one of the worst.
