Tax question for those of you who have kids 18 - 25 yrs old.
I have a 20 yr old and an 18 yr old that is a few weeks from graduating. Should I be claiming them as dependents, or is it better if I don’t? What are the implications?
As far as I know, I only get $500 per kid, is there another benefit?
If I don’t claim them, would they be eligible for Pell grants through FAFSA?
