It's a 162 game season. Everyone's backup catcher rotates in. And just about everybody else in the lineup gets the occasional night off. The majority of teams in the league would gladly trade you their best lineup for the lineup the Dodgers put out last night, and they would have most definitely loved their chances with that lineup and Glasnow on the mound.
It's baseball. Losses happen. Even the best teams typically lose 50+ games in a season. Last year's WS champ lost over 70 in the regular season. Think about that. The '23 Rangers had as many regular season losses as the '96 Bulls had regular season wins.
