Worked at Chase and stopped a few of these. But the caller tells the person they
can’t tell the bank teller anything and they keep them on the line or they’ll be “thrown in prison if the line disconnects”. Blah blah blah same story every time.
And yes we got chewed out a few times by the person getting scammed trying to stop the scam. Only to have them come back 2 days later balling and asking if there’s anything we could do.
