I did it all the time for my boss back in the day. I don’t remember any cons,
other than it was kind of a pain and a slow process because we didn’t do it in person. Maybe it depends on the county.

Sales tax applies to the purchase of property which is stored, used, or consumed in the state (assuming you're in Utah)
