friend to New Jersey to visit the friend's father who was in a memory care center. At the end of the visit he wanted to give his friend some private time with his father, so he walked out into a courtyard and found a bench where he could sit and relax. One of the residents soon came strolling along and asked if she could share the bench. They struck up a conversation which eventually turned to her love of music, especially the music of the big band and jazz eras. He wasn't one to bring attention to himself in his private life, but at this point his ego got the best of him and he asked her, "well, do you know who I am?" She looked him very sincerely in the eye and responded, "no, but if you go up to the front desk, there's a very helpful lady who can tell you."
