Talking of REAL drive throughs, I grew up in Ohio and we had real drive
throughs where it was like a 7-11 that you drove your vehicle through and bought those types of items from that kind of store without ever having to get out of your car. Beverages were their main stay. They came out about late 60's. I just assumed they were everywhere, but I've never seen any in Utah. I've been here 23 years now. I lived in WV for 8 years, but I don't specifically remember them there or any in Florida, but I was there only 1 year. Maybe they're all now gone from Ohio, but they were convenient. Kind of like on-line shopping and pickup.
