Agree completely. I think we perceived athletes to be more loyal than they
were. But now that it’s all out in the open, we realize they aren’t.
And I agree, I think most of us, myself included, are feeling more and more disconnected.
I think the yearly NIL scramble, while it provides short term intrigue and drama, will begin to wear on fanbases more and more over the next several years and frustration will turn to apathy.

Monetarily he would’ve been better off at BYU in the long run. It was shortsighted if it was just about today’s money.
