I think the larger problem is that kids in these positions never get trained
On how to deal with customer complaints. Or how to treat people respectfully in general. It falls on the GM or owner to give them some guidance and training.

Of, course there are customers that over react. But it’s super rare for a customer to just go off for absolutely no reason.
