caters to an older crowd (although there were many kids on our cruise) but I am OK with that as I am "older." Perhaps they did not have as many kid-centric amenities as the others, but, I did not care.

Princess was very good. Carnival (as it's name suggests), seems to attract a big party crowd. I took kids on both these cruise lines and they enjoyed them both.

We had no issues with any of them and buffet food is buffet food so I did not bother to compare them. They all had very large and well-stocked buffets as well as speciality places like burger stands, taco places, etc. The restaurants on all of them seemed to have decent food but I liked Holland America best.
