It has everything to do with it. Beef tallow not only tastes better, but from
what I understand it is healthier than the rapeseed or whatever seed oil McDonald's uses now.

My wife is a vegan (she calls it plant based) because she feels terrible whenever she eats carbs or meat

She mainly eats low glycemic vegetables, relatively few fruits and root vegetables. Absolutely zero refined carbs
