go to a specialized vacuum store. tell them what kind of flooring you have, who is doing the vacuuming, any special needs (pets, allergies, etc). They will have options the will perform for you and that will be repairable in the future.

I owned and operated vacuum stores for a decade, family still runs them. Box store vacuum companies do not support/repair their products they sale new.

Dont get me wrong box store vacuums can be good, just hard to get parts and support. Not impossible, just difficult.
