Gotta use a credit card like a debit card. If the money is not in your bank account, you don’t have the money to buy whatever it is you want. We pay credit cards off on the 1st and 15th of every month. Once a month would be fine, but it helps remind us to not buy anything on credit.

Credit card perks are great, but as soon as you are paying interest on the card balance, it’s not worth it in the slightest.

Credit cards are linked directly to our budgeting system (YNAB), as are our bank accounts, so every purchase we make we know we have enough money for it.
