I know that a lot of tax accountants would be out of a job and the folks who make Turbotax, Tax Act, etc would be looking for work, but big-picture, it seems like moving to a simpler tax structure would have HUGE benefits, both from closing tax loopholes and from the increased efficiency of the system.
