Waterman is a pretty big oversight on that list, don't ya think? Not to mention our departed Sr & team-leader, Spence Johnson.

No way around it. This team rebuild has a ways to go if KY hopes to have as good of results as Pope did in his remarkable Big12 inauguration.

I remain hopeful for KY & our emerging staff — but we are more than a Lanier or a Berke away from expecting to top last year's team. We'd need to land both. Or some other big-time pieces. Like perhaps Jax & Demin.

And there's also the chance that our new staff falls short of that goal. And that's okay if that happens, too. KY started off in a very tight spot & has done remarkably well as a brand-new recruiter, regardless. Forcing his way into the Lanier decision late in the game — has been VERY impressive. Win or lose.
