DL is great for upgrades to first class. Especially if you are a Diamond in a non-hub city. (Not only their normal
upgrade system but their regional and global upgrade certificates too).
Also nice is the annual companion pass (with the credit card).
Whether or not you want to switch to DL will depend partly on how much you fly and how much you spend on credit cards. If you're a heavy flyer or heavy credit card spender (or could be) then DL is a good option because of the upgrades you'll get.
