That is my point....the gap of seriousness of
injuries between BYU and Utah is much closer than you realize. We
were playing most the season with our 2-3 string safeties and
DL.
Remember, the whole nation including your coach touted Utah as having the best QB situation in the country, so I don't buy it that BJ was a huge hurt. Giraffe filled in nicely, especially against UCLA. In fact, I think Giraffe would have done well, but Punwig was up to his usuall jekyl and hyde tricks.
