ever got her is a vacuum cleaner. About 10 years ago, the champion present became the Oreck. As good at cleaning as every other vacuum out there, but so light & much easier to lug around the house. Two years ago, the Oreck was de-throned by the Dyson - it just cleans better than everything else - and you don't need the ridiculously expensive Oreck vacuum bags....

So in 21 christmases, the top two presents have both been vacuum cleaners. They beat out lots of jewelry, spa treatments, sweaters, perfume, etc. Hands-down. Not even close...
