This is due to the fact that Majerus told him his job was to distribute first, shoot second. Whereas with BYU I think nearly everone's task is to shoot first pass second (slight exaggeration but definitely mirrors the offense). As far as ppg goes - Just look to the NCAA tourney when we later found out that Majerus pulled Andre over and said the cuffs are off, you do what you need to and he almost single handedly took the other teams out. I remember several possessions in a row that were all Andre.

With that being said, Jimmer is a baller and I think some of you are idiots for saying he is not an NBA player - sure he may never make the NBA but the kid is a sophomore and you never know how much he can improve in 2 years time.
