How BYU beats OU . . .
So while I was doing a training run for the Wasatch Back Relay yesterday, I was taken in a sudden vision of the future and I was blessed to see the first play of the BYU v. OU game. It unfolded thusly:

Bradford steps behind center and takes the snap. He turns and hands off to his running back, DeMarco Murray. Murray takes only one step and is completely leveled by Scott Johnson, who is coming on a very unexpected safety blitz. Scottie, with a full head of steam and a suicidal attitude, hits him so hard the ball comes loose. Bradford quickly sprints to the ball--which is now ten yards behind the line of scrimmage--with Jan Jorgensen close on his heels. Bradford leaps on the ball just as Janimal leaps on him -- separating Bradford's throwing shoulder. Bradford is helped from the game and led to the lockerroom. The OU sideline is stunned and the BYU team takes courage.

I didn't see anything past that. But I liked our chances.

Put it down.
