My practice report.
So, it was nice to be bale to take my son down there. Because I'm spending money elsewhere (contested adoptions are expensive) I don't know if I will be able to go to a game this year. This may have been the only live action and although it wasn't much, it was fun. My son (2 years old) had a great time as well.

Anyway, just a couple of thoughts I had. nothing earth shattering (maybe not even that accurate). I had to leave after the 1s second attempt at "Bluezone" so it only partial:

-Chambers and ALL of the QBs couldn't quite get in sync during some drills. Not sure who is to blame but the QBs and Chambers had the most misses that I could see.

-Braden Brown seems much bigger than the other TEs. Hopefully that means he's a good blocker. As JJ and Malosi gets more snaps this year and next you may se some more outside running, neccessitating a little more strength at the TE position.

-Brandon Bradley's knock down of the 3rd and goal pass to McKay from Hall in Bluezone was pretty impressive from my point of view. hall could have put it up and out a little more but it did look wide open until Bradley mde the jump on the ball. Not sure many of our opponents have DBs that could have made that play.

-There are a lot of running backs/fullbacks.

-Anae is always skinnier than I imagine him.

-I wouldn't hang on all of the results of the "Bluezone" drill. It's not completely "live" so to make any real judgement off of the results isn't too accurate. The running backs would almost always get 1-3 yards or plus more than they are given because they essentially blow the wistle at the first touch. There was a play were Max ran around out of the pocket and then through it away that would have likely been a sack if the DLs weren't were going full speed once they had an unabated track at them.

-I'm glad I'm not a coach. They obviosuly do better at evaluating little things in practice to determine who plays and who doesn't. The fourth string QB (#4) looked on par wih many of the other guys in drills.
