(actually... in hindsight, it's probably all my fault that the Cougars lost yesterday).

We DVR'd the game and watched it a couple of hours late last night because the daughter of our close friends/neighbors was playing in the state championship soccer game.

The school's colors are purple/white/black (with purple the dominant color).

Because DirectTV no longer carries VS. we went straight from the soccer match to my brother in law's house to watch the BYU/TCU game.

The result... I was actually wearing purple while watching the game.

So yes distraught Cougar fans, if you are looking for someone to blame -- blame me.

(but the upside is, I already have purple colors to wear when TCU plays Utah
