You all make me sick
All you realist fans trying to justify your half-yewted attempts at fanhood. But really, you are just keeping your foot in the back door keeping your exit ready. You are the very definition of Fair Weather Fan.

Then after a few bad games you knew all along our team was not that good. Our players were that slow and not that athletic. Our corners really are that short. Our coaches are that out-of-touch. The honor code is that huge of a stumbling block and old-fashioned. Our way of doing things are that yewt-backwards. Our practices really are that useless. Our participation in firesides really is that bad of an idea.

Well, to all of you who think that: Leave.

Leave and go find a school that will support your lack of an ego. Go find a school whose apparel you can buy at any sporting goods store in the country. Go find a school whose student athletes are praised if they only have one Baby Mamma and only have 1 DUI/fraud/cheating scandal a year. Go find a school that puts football above all else, because to you, football is everything. And when I say football is everything, I mean that living vicariously through a bunch of kids playing a sport means everything to you, Uncle Rico.

I dont care where you go, just stop coming to LaVell Edwards Stadium. You are just raising the price of tickets for everyone else.

I dont know about the rest of you, but I am going to continue to watch our games every week online from a copyright-infringing website. I am going to continue to proudly wear my BYU apparel in the middle of Sooner Country. I am going to continue to sing the Cougar Fight Song instead of Happy Birthday. I am going to continue to cheer on my Cougars to another 10+ win season and top 25 ranking. But even if they dont finish like that, I am still going to spend time reading about our team and the good bunch of men they are. I am still going to list Bronco as one of the men I admire. I am going to spend January through August watching YouTube videos of highlights. I am going to follow Spring and Fall camps and get excited for the season ahead. I am going to follow the recruits that want to be a part of the legacy of BYU Football.

You will fight, day or night. Rain or snow. Funny how there is no mention to fair weather.

BYU is my team, and I will be their fan.
