"I was already fast and had good hands, but I wasn't quite as heavy as teams usually like, and I had never been a very strong bench presser. I wasn't horrible, but just not quite as strong as I needed to be. What made it worse was that I had hurt my wrist in the Utah game (On my first touchdown when I landed on the goalline) and I hadn't been able to bench press very much for the last month. So when I was better and started my workouts for the combine, I was even farther behind than where I started. And I worked out with a group of guys and the workouts were not specifically suited to what I needed and we didn't focus on bench hardly at all. So that didn't help much."
