I am working on Cub Scout requirement with my son. I need to find 3 stories about protecting our world. Any suggestions? I really don't need all the global warming political slant stuff. Just some uplifting, common sense stories.

Here is the actual requirement: "With an adult, find three stories that tell how people are protecting our world. Read and discuss them together. "

Any tips would be appreciated.
