As a Ute, I made fun of the Vegas Bowl because of the number of times BYU went to the Bowl game, not the Bowl game itself. Believe it or not, USC fans were complaining about going to the Rose Bowl every year (in 2008), not anymore. Last year, I would have preferred Utah to go to the Vegas Bowl (Poinsettia being on the 23rd made it to late to go to and get back in time for Christmas), but BYU earned it on the field. I think going to any bowl 5 years in a row (sans National Championship game) sucks, especially when it is the Mountain West bowl games, but the Vegas Bowl is best of the bunch and being a 5 hour drive is nice.

Fortunately, Utah does not have to deal with these arrangements after this year. We may still go to the Vegas Bowl, but our team won't be deserving of more.
