Against a team that has shown no ability to move the ball, you need to push the lead to two scores to prevent being beaten by a fluke play. That was a terrible blunder.
I told the people who watched the game with me that it was going to cost BYU the game before the ball was even snapped. I hoped I was wrong, but playing dumb doesn't pay off.
