My game day experience.

So I decided to drive up in my car with the Y plates which read KOZMO. We parked on the street on 200 South 1300 East, in front of student housing. When a girl living there saw us she screamed and said, "NOT BYU FANS PARKING IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE!"

We ate lunch at The Pie with a group of Ute fans we know. Not bad, but I think we were the only two BYU fans eating there. I wonder what it will be like if we decide to eat there on our own next time?

We sat in the South End Zone, an island of two in a sea of red. People asked us if we'd lost a bet. They couldn't fathom that we owned those seats as season ticket holders. The best part was telling them that we'd made enough money off all the other tickets that we were getting paid over $60 each to watch the BYU/Utah game.

They were actually very nice to us. It seemed apparent to me that many Ute fans were going out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We took off pretty quickly after the game. I was anxious to see if anything had happened to my car. People continued to be quite welcoming as we walked to the car.

I did see a ref wearing a Ute hat, and wondered for a minute... He was probably working the chains or something on the sideline.

When we got to my car, there was a note written on a napkin on my windshield which said:

"For the record Utah Fans Live here. For your Safety Please do NOT park here. Thank you For your consideration. The UofU Fans of 200 S. P.S. enjoy the taste of dispare on your long ride home."

It was cute. In a way they were reaching out to us trying to be funny. Of course I'm not sure what dispare tastes like. Is that some sort of drink?
