I mostly agree with your point about the last 8 years, but it should be noted that during the last 8 years, Utah finished ranked twice, went to the sweet 16 once, and won the conference 3 times and went to the NCAA tourney 4 times (won 3 games) and had a national player of the year and #1 draft pick. Many schools would be happy with that performance. Obviously, Giac and Boylen were bad hires, but the last 8 years have not been bad by many people's standards.
