TCU asks media to drop the "Christian"
I heard from good authority that TCU sent a request to all media that they be refereed to as "TCU", and NOT "Texas Christian". They feel fans sometimes mistake "Texas Christian" for a smaller, less prestigious program, and they want to be build a national brand of "TCU".
I thought this was kinda odd.
Thoughts???
