I just can't help but be frustrated with my fellow fans who believe that Independence is the route that will provide instant success. I get it that BYU will have more coverage which will allow out of state fans to have access to BYU sports, but (and this is a big but)it could hurt recruiting. Those "important" games against Texas, Mississippi, ND, etc., could be embarrassing loses being witnessed by future recruits. Sure we'll win those cupcake games against those in the WAC and WCC, but winning those games won't help in recruiting if we can't win the big games. The end of affect for losing those big games and not having a bowl game will result in losing out top tier recruits. I hate to say this, but going Indy could be the worst decision ever made.
