Utah then went on a 17-0 run without the aid of one single turnover. Utah did it by continually forcing BYU into 3 and outs and driving the length of the field. It was 24-10 before the 2nd half onslaught of turnovers began.
If BYU did not turn over the ball 5 more times than Utah, would the margin have been closer than 44.
Of course.
If Utah does not turn over the ball 4 more times than UW or lose it's starting Qb, is the final margin closer than 17.
I think so.
But at the end of the day, the better team won in both games.
