I don't know what 2010 you were watching but our RB's were just about as inconsistent at this point in the season with a lot of the same issues with fumbling. This year we have faced some tough run defenses early on compared with last year and the team has had to deal with injuries to Quezada and Kariya and the loss of Iona Pritchard who was supposed to be an important part of the running attack. I'm not making trying excuses for Dupaix but he is dealing with slightly different circumstances than what Reynolds had at this time last year. But what I look for in a coach is improvement and making the right adjustments and we have seen evidence of that in the last couple of games. We're still not where we should be in the rushing dept but I see progress there.

Your grade on Reynolds I thought was a little high. As much as I like Reynolds and I do think he's the right guy for that job, but after 5 games the TE's have only 1 TD to show for? Like the running game, I'm optimistic this will get better but for a program that prides itself on its high caliber TE's, we're still underachieving. Losing Devin Mahina was a tough blow but we still have guys capable of being every bit as productive as TE's of years past.
