Utah is an average PAC 12 team this year and they beat BYU by 44 freaking points. What does that say about BYU?
I've watched enough football to know that the PAC12 is head and shoulders about the MWC. It's not even close. We (as fans) were completely, 100% wrong when we said that the best MWC team could do very well in the PAC.
The every week grind is real. I wish that Utah could have just walzted in to the PAC and won the title the first year but that just wasn't realistic.
Slowly though, Utah will recruit better athletes and within a few years, they will look a lot like Arizona State, Washington and Cal. At that point, The Holy War will favor Utah so much that most years it won't even be a close game.
Just my take.
