I wouldn't worry abou the ECO thing but would be more concerned about the transmission as they have had problems.

How many miles? If you are getting close to 100k be careful on the check engine light. Have you noticed your transmission slipping at all? Our check engine light went on and it was because the tranny was going. From what I read online it sounds like others experienced the same.
