Okay, this is patently absurd. I absolutely loathe
when people cry racism when there is nothing to substantiate it, except for perceived offences.
I was at the game, and the reactions from the students had nothing, AT ALL, to do with the refs' skin color. The reactions were because of the refs' BAD JUDGEMENT and inability to cope with a loud (can I say hostile here, without implying we were threatening?) and excitable crowd. By your same logic, any time a black (or any other minority) ref walks into the MC, the fans would display the same antipathy and overt aggression. Sorry man, this isn't the first time non-white refs have called a game there, and the older white ref made as many or more bad calls as the other two.
