While I'm sure everyone here on CB shares your deep sense of concern and fear that our fan behavior, especially at volleyball matches, puts our grand university in a less-than-flattering light, we here at CB are only a fraction of the fans. The less educated and less classy fans don't bother with the high culture of internet message boards, so you're going to need to widen your scope if you honestly wish to have any real effect.

You should first start off by writing at least one letter per day to the Daily (weekly) Universe. You should also email TH and CS. Then I'd recommend you schedule a follow-up meeting with them. Maybe you could have a cheer regulation squad formed, and if anyone yells or cheers anything that, in your sole and absolute discretion, is slightly off-color or questionable, they will immediately tossed from the game and put on University probation and referred to the honor code office.

That's just a start. you could then form a posse of similarly minded individuals to attend swim meets, tennis matches, and of course the rugby games to make sure similar type behavior isn't being exhibited by so-called fans at those events either.
