Let me reframe it: Staff/Faculty ratio
BYU 1.7/1.0
MSU 1.27/1.0
Utah - no way Utah has 14000 admin staff unless you are counting all of the medical center staff - Primary Children's Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Institute, as well as the University Hospital not your usual case.
An outside accreditation review of BU back in the mid 1990s declared that BYU had twice as many admin/staff as comparable universities and recommended those numbers be cut. The numbers doubled since then.
