I know I said I wouldn't comment on Hunger Games again ...
... but, I think I really underestimated Suzanne Collins. Towards the end of the movie, the thought occurred to me that the creator of the story really just satirized all of us watching the movie. For example, when Catnis kissed Peeta, it was for the sole purpose of pleasing the audience in the Capital City ... It was for show. However, when it happened in the movie, a 40 year old lady sitting behind me in the theater audibly gasped. She was eating it up just like the audience in the movie.

The movie is making fun of all of us but I dont think many people got that.

This is a good article on this subject: http://popwatch.ew.com/2012/03/24/the-hunger-games-book-movie/
