In which Darrin gets Samantha pregnant and they decide to get married. Once Tabitha is born, they disclose their love to Samantha's mother, Endora, who in a fit of rage kills both her daughter and son-in-law and when she goes to kill Baby Tabitha, Samantha's love protects the child and the killing spells bounces back sending Endora to live with Uncle Arthur.

Endora is driven insane by Arthur and her shrew like ways turn him gay. Eventually she manages to escape and seeks revenge on the now teenaged Tabitha, but is ultimately killed a final showdown with her granddaughter.

This story line was deemed too controversial for a mid 60's TV audience and it was re-worked into the Bewitched we know and love today. Though in a nod to the original concept, Endora and "Derwood" remained at odds with each other.
